Suppla grew from lived experience of those nights, and the belief that the clothing closest to skin should do more.
WHY CLOTHING MATTERS
Clothing is in contact with our skin constantly, yet it is rarely considered with the same precision and evidence as the products applied directly to skin.
When skin is affected by eczema, that contact matters. Trapped warmth can intensify itching, while sweat and retained moisture can add to discomfort and create conditions more favourable for bacterial growth. Friction and repeated scratching can leave already vulnerable skin more damaged.
Every Suppla design decision begins with the realities of eczema and a clear purpose: to support vulnerable skin.
OUR PROCESS
Our process begins with fibre selection and fabric development, then moves through fit, construction and finishing.
From the fibre level up, each stage is focused on ensuring the finished clothing performs for skin affected by eczema.
To ensure performance, we independently tested our Signature Fabric for skin tolerance and clinically evaluated the finished clothing over 28 days under dermatological and paediatric control.
What we learn informs every refinement, helping us create functional clothing that performs when it matters most.

We believe clothing can play a much greater role in protecting skin, supporting sleep and improving everyday wellbeing.
As Suppla grows, we will continue combining functional textiles, skin-first design and clinical evidence to develop the next generation of clothing for eczema and sensitive skin.
